After more than a decade, the Christian rock band Third Day is set to hit the road again for its 30th anniversary tour.
“We’re on our third day, and it’s our first tour in over 11 years,” said Mac Powell, the lead singer and co-founder. Watch the video.
The tour, starting in 2026, will span three months and cover 30 cities throughout the United States. Joining them will be the award-winning artist Zach Williams. The band’s lineup for the tour consists of Powell, electric guitarist Merkley, bassist Ty Anderson, and drummer David Kerr.
Fans can expect to hear “all the hits,” including songs like “Your Love, Lord” and “Consuming Fire.” Throughout their 30-year career, the band has sold 10 million albums, had 31 singles, and released 14 studio albums since forming in 1991.
“This show will be more than just a concert,” Anderson remarked. “It’s a celebration of music, our faith, and, most importantly, our incredible fans.”
Powell mentioned that they frequently get asked about a reunion. “I’ve been asked for years when Third Day will tour again, and I always hoped it would be soon. I can’t wait to finally perform live and deliver what fans have been waiting for,” he shared.
The tour will commence on March 26, covering various states, including Alabama, California, Florida, and Texas.
“This will be a once-in-a-lifetime night of live music for all generations,” stated Dan Fife, CEO of Awakening Events, the touring company.
During their farewell tour in 2018, the band played 20 shows, making it their final series of live performances at that time.
“At the core, we were a live band,” Lee shared. “The best way to celebrate 30 years is to tour again. I’m looking forward to stepping back on stage with these guys for our fans.”
“I can’t wait to see you soon,” Lee added.
