The world’s fastest electric car is hurtling into the Big Apple.
Top speed is 256 miles per hour. Rimac Nevera is heading from its birthplace of Croatia to the center stage of the New York Auto Show.
The hypercar, which retails for $2.5 million, is manufactured by Rimac Automobili.

The model, which will be on display at the auto show at the Jacob K. Javits Center from March 29 to April 7, is already making waves and was photographed by a New Jersey-based Croatian neurosurgeon. I plan on picking it up after the show.
Nevera has four motors, three high-resolution screens, and a high-capacity battery pack.
It debuted in 2022, and only 150 units remain.
Each can be custom built to the customer’s preference in materials and colors, but many feature suede and polished billet aluminum interiors.
Nevera, who set 25 world performance records, was named after the powerful storm that hits the Croatian coast of the Adriatic Sea.
