‘This Is Us’ star Milo Ventimiglia in tears after home burns down in LA fires days before wife gives birth

Milo Ventimiglia fought back tears after visiting the ruins of his Malibu home, which was gutted in the horrific Los Angeles fires. It was a few days before my wife was due to give birth.

The “This Is Us” alum, 47, and his wife Jara Mariano were forced to evacuate their home Tuesday after their neighborhood was determined to be in the danger zone of the Palisades Fire, which has burned nearly 20,000 acres. It was done.

After the two fled, they witnessed their home being engulfed in flames on a security camera.

“I think there's kind of a shock moment where you're like, 'Oh, this is real, this is happening,'” the “Gilmore Girls” alum told the magazine.

“And at some point, we just turned it off. What's the point of continuing to watch? We were kind of accepting the loss.”

The couple, who married in 2023, grabbed “everything imaginable” before evacuating.

However, we were unable to save many items, including the fetal crib we had already made for the nursery.

“It was all set up,” Ventimiglia said.

Ventimiglia walked through the destroyed area, explaining where each household item had once been.

The actor is best known for playing Jack Pearson opposite Mandy Moore's Rebecca Pearson on “This Is Us.”

Jack and Rebecca, a married couple with three children, also lost their home in the hit TV show fire.

“Life imitating art, that's what sticks with me,” Ventimiglia said of the similarities.

Still, Ventimiglia is hopeful that he can get his life back on track soon.

“We have good friends and good people we work with and we can get by. My wife, baby and dog are the most important things,” he added.

After being forced to evacuate, Ventimiglia's former co-star Moore and her husband were lucky enough to miraculously find much of their home still standing in Altadena, California.

Elsewhere, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend were forced to evacuate their home and take shelter in a hotel with their four children, four dogs and their pet bearded dragon.

Others include Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Eugene Levy, and James Woods.

There are five wildfires burning in Southern California, including the Palisades Fire, where firefighters are working to contain 6 percent of the fires.

The wildfire has burned about 36,000 acres since it first ignited on Tuesday.

One person was taken into custody Thursday in connection with the Kenneth Fire, which broke out Thursday afternoon in Los Angeles' West Hills.
