Super Bowl 2026 Plans for Christian McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo

Christian McCaffrey is set to host his San Francisco 49ers teammates during the upcoming Super Bowl between the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots in 2026, as shared by his wife, Olivia Culpo.

Culpo, who participated in the 2024 and 2025 Super Bowls, expressed her excitement about welcoming family and friends to their Los Angeles home for the event. “I’m going to be hosting the Super Bowl with my family, so I’ll probably be in Los Angeles instead of San Francisco. But I’m really looking forward to throwing a little party,” she mentioned in a recent conversation.

During the 2024 Super Bowl held in Las Vegas, Culpo supported McCaffrey and the 49ers as they faced a tough overtime loss against the Kansas City Chiefs. The following year, she hosted the first-ever red carpet show for Fox Sports at the 2025 Super Bowl in New Orleans.

This year is expected to be a more laid-back affair for her. “It’s probably going to be a gathering of Christian friends and teammates and my family,” she shared, hinting at a casual get-together. “Christian comes here, so we have a lot of stuff from the grill. I feel like guys always want a ton of protein.”

As the host of Netflix’s cooking competition “Next Gen Chef,” Culpo revealed some party staples she deems “non-negotiable.” “I usually love to eat calzones, pizza, and chicken wings,” she stated. “And for dessert… ice cream cookies are the best. Maybe ice cream to make yourself a Sunday brownie on Sunday.”

Culpo added a hint of family tradition; this time, she and her daughter Colette, born in July 2025, are opting for matching pajamas instead of the typical 49ers attire. “I bought matching Valentine’s Day pajamas for my niece, my daughter, and me, so we’re going to wear them. We’re neutral,” she explained. “We don’t really care who wins… we’re 49ers fans.”

It’s worth mentioning that the 49ers struggled this season, culminating in a harsh 41-6 defeat to the top-seeded Seahawks on January 17 in an NFC Divisional Round game. McCaffrey faced injury during the match but made a brief return before being sidelined again.

“First of all, I was always concerned about his health and safety,” Culpo said, reflecting on supporting McCaffrey after their playoff exit. “If he’s in a good mood and I notice, ‘Okay, he’s walking okay,’ I’m really excited. And he feels that way too.”

She emphasized how McCaffrey’s perspective on loss has shifted since becoming a father, finding a new sense of balance. “It’s a very physical sport, and you just want to be healthy enough to achieve your own goals,” Culpo added, noting the importance of being there for him through the emotional rollercoaster of a sports career.

On a more personal note, she reflected on her first NFL season as a mother, describing it as “very special” to bring Colette to meet McCaffrey at his games. “I always thought he would be a really good father because he’s a really good guy,” she remarked, which illustrates the bond they share.

Despite a challenging season marred by injuries, McCaffrey still performed admirably, starting all 17 games and achieving impressive stats with 1,202 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns, along with 102 receptions for 924 yards and seven touchdowns.

Culpo and McCaffrey tied the knot in June 2024, celebrating their love in a high-profile ceremony in Rhode Island. They have been together since 2019 and got engaged in April 2023.
