Rally in London Honors Charlie Kirk

Tens of thousands gathered for a “kingdom unity” rally in London on Saturday, where demonstrators expressed their reverence for Charlie Kirk, a conservative activist who passed away. The event featured photos and flags dedicated to his memory.

Organizers shared a touching tribute video highlighting a moment where Kirk provided life advice to a 13-year-old girl during a Turning Point USA event, which had gained significant attention online.

Tommy Robinson, an activist, was the driving force behind the rally, stating that the video tribute aimed to “celebrate the life of one of our generation.” Elon Musk also made an appearance via video link, criticizing the left for their reaction to Kirk’s tragic end, which he referred to as a “murder party.”

Supporters showcased large photos of Kirk and carried signs that articulated their concerns over free speech in the UK. Robinson characterized the march as a demonstration for free speech, emphasizing a need to protect British culture and heritage. He spoke to the audience, saying Kirk had inspired many young men through his courage and faith.

A sea of demonstrators brandished St. George flags and the Union Jack, chanting about taking back their country. While police estimated attendance around 110,000, organizers claimed millions were present. In contrast, a competing protest attracted about 5,000 individuals.

The aftermath of Kirk’s murder at the University of Utah on Wednesday has led to the arrest of a suspect. Musk expressed his outrage, alleging that some were celebrating Kirk’s death, and pointed to a broader pattern of violence associated with the left.

Robinson applauded Musk for revitalizing free speech on social media, linking the rally’s success to Musk’s efforts. He remarked that the British populace is prepared to take a stand, and he made controversial claims regarding legal rights for immigrants compared to native citizens.

This demonstration comes amidst ongoing debates in the UK about rising immigration, particularly concerning migrants crossing the English Channel. Musk warned that the nation stands at a critical juncture in its identity, emphasizing the dangers of suppressing free speech.

He voiced concerns about unregulated migration threatening the very fabric of British society, asserting that a significant portion of migrants may be politically motivated. “We are at a crossroads—whether to embrace greatness or slide into darkness,” he stated.
