Paris (AP) -The Mayor of the town died of a fire that broke out in a elderly house near Paris, according to the mayor of the town.
The three victims were 68, 85, and 96 years old, and Valdoys' prefectures died as a result of smoke inhalation.
In addition, nine people were injured by the flame of the residence in the town of Bemont.
The prefecture added the nine injured residents and two staff members who sucked smoke. The eight were transported to various hospitals in the Paris region.
“This is a serious event for our town,” said Mayor Michelle Lakows and said to BFM TV. “It seems to have been an accident.”
Laquo said that the fire was controlled. He said he was thought to have started in the laundry room before spreading on a part of the third floor.
Commander Adrian Ponin Sinapaen, a French civilian defense agency, said that the fire had disappeared after 140 firefighters were deployed on the scene.
