Police say three illegal immigrants were arrested in Texas and after fleeing a violent drunk crash that killed a 22-year-old driver.
According to the Arlington Police Department, 25-year-old Cesar Ramirez Castro swayed I-20's shoulder and hit an I-20's shoulder, hitting a car that stopped at about 7:30pm on Saturday.
The impact forced the vehicle to hit a concrete barrier and explode into flames. The first responder found a 22-year-old man who died behind the wheel.
Castro and the other two on the truck with him – later Marcelino Ramirez Ramirez, 30, and Daniel Castro Zammarón, 24, were seen jumping off and running away, but were eventually arrested. CBS News reported.
After an outdoor sobriety test, Castro was arrested and while drunk, he was charged with one count of manslaughter and one of the clashes involving death.
He has immigration reservations, prison records show According to Fox News.
Ramirez Ramirez and Zammarón were also arrested and charged with public addiction. Both have immigration retention.
Arlington police did not immediately respond to requests for additional information.
