Three illegal aliens, including two fugitives and one released to the United States, have been charged with armed robbery of a butcher shop in Milford, Massachusetts.
Illegal immigrant Daniel Generoso, 26 years old, from Brazil. Lucas Moreira Fontenelle, 21 years old, from Brazil. Jonasa de Araujo Lima, 19, also from Brazil, arrested Milford police have charged a man with armed robbery after allegedly robbing the butcher shop Aroma Brasil earlier this month.
Details from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE); published inside boston heraldrevealed that Moreira Fontenaire was arrested in Framingham, Massachusetts in March 2023 on charges of assault and battery and sentenced in December 2023.
ICE took Moreira Fontenelle into custody and sought detention, but Massachusetts’ sanctuary state policy allowed him to be released into the community instead.
Meanwhile, Lima was initially apprehended by Border Patrol at the US-Mexico border in May 2021, but was later released into the interior of the US thanks to President Joe Biden’s catch-and-release network.
Moreira Fontenelle and Generoso are both considered fugitives from the southern border, meaning they successfully crossed the border without being detected by Border Patrol agents. It is known that nearly 1 million illegal foreign fugitives crossed the border in 2023.
