Gervonta Davis wins by decision or technical decision (+260)
Davis is an elite counter puncher. Floyd Mayweather Jr. He has excellent vision, defense and exceptional distance sense that allows him to land punches at the edge of the distance and land power shots, especially his left hook. That left hook and a focus on body work early and often has made Tank a skilled finisher, with 27 of his 29 wins coming by stoppage.
So this is a big step up for Martin. Martin is fast, technical, defensively sound, and has good footwork. He’s not a big volume boxer, but he’s good at blocking hard punches and responding with body slams. The problem is, he’s not a big puncher and he’s up against a big puncher, so there’s a lot less room for error.
I like Martin as a fighter, but he’ll have a tough time in this fight. That said, I think there’s a good chance Martin will make this fight exciting. Davis doesn’t get off to a fast start, but Martin is quick and has a strong defense, so he should at least give Tank a hard time. Considering Tank hasn’t fought in over a year, this fight will be long and maybe not very thrilling to watch.

Tatsuro Taira wins by KO/TKO/DQ or submission (+100)
This Saturday’s UFC main event will feature Japan’s best MMA prospect. Taira is only 24 years old, but he has all the makings of a future champion. The Okinawa native is an elite athlete, a lethal grappler and a developing striker with natural power. Taira has won five of his UFC bouts with dominant victories, earning him the opportunity to face a top-five opponent.
Alex Perez has been a mainstay in the UFC flyweight division since 2017, challenging for the title in 2020. That night, Perez didn’t fare well. It’s one of the stories of his career: when he faces the best, he always loses. This is Perez’s second attempt to fend off an up-and-coming prodigy ( Muhammad Mokaev I want to win in March and prove I’m still in the title race.
This should be an easy win for Taira. He’s a better grappler and a much better athlete, and can fight on the stand and might not win outright there. The main question is how he will win. Historically, when Perez has lost it has been by submission, and that seems the most likely outcome, but we can’t rule out Taira showing off his improving punching prowess.

Joshua Vann (+170)
This was originally going to be a bet on Ikram Aliskerov, but late Thursday Aliskerov was pulled from this weekend’s event and will now fight Robert Whittaker at UFC Saudi Arabia next Saturday. With that in mind, we’re going to bet on the prelim underdog.
Vann will face top-15 flyweight Tagir Uranbekov in a highly anticipated preliminary bout on Saturday. At just 22 years old, it’s a big step up for the super prospect, but he has a good chance of winning. Uranbekov is a big flyweight with a history of losses to top contenders, but he’s not the most dynamic fighter, and Vann has plenty of that. Plus, Vann has excellent takedown defense and the ability to scramble when taken down, so Uranbekov probably won’t win in his favor.
If Vann can continue to show the rapid improvement he has shown over the past few rounds, there will be a new contender on Saturday.
