Tiffany Henyard Celebrates Republican Primary Win Amid Criticism

Tiffany Henyard, who calls herself the “Super Mayor,” expressed her excitement over her unchallenged win in Georgia’s Republican primary on Tuesday. However, detractors, referred to as the “Dalton Dictators,” urged the public to reconsider their support in future elections.

With a troubled past, Henyard has faced challenges in her political journey, having previously switched from the Democratic Party and relocated from Illinois in order to run for Fulton County Commissioner.

“Thank you, Fulton County! We did it,” she proclaimed on Wednesday in a celebratory Facebook post. “Please support the movement.”

According to election data, Henyard garnered only 1,136 votes, which is over 2,000 less than the candidate who placed last in the Democratic primary.

Critics are now sounding the alarm, advising Georgia voters to avoid making the same mistakes they believe they did in the past. “Please do your research before voting for her again in the general election,” implored Sherry Britton, 57.

She emphasized, “It’s all black and white. It’s all video. As Dalton residents, we went through a lot, and you should see that.”

Lawrence Gardner, who claimed Henyard targeted his trucking business for not supporting her financially, bluntly stated, “Tiffany is no good.” He added jokingly that “Tiffany’s as crooked as a Mississippi slut.”

Henyard has termed her campaign “Project Phoenix,” having faced a significant defeat in Dalton last year where voters showed their discontent. She experienced an embarrassing loss in the Democratic primary in the Chicago suburbs, which was marred by controversies, including questionable spending and public disputes with city council members.

Previously, she had held positions as municipal supervisor in Dalton County and Thorntown Township, during which federal agents served her subpoenas.

Despite her controversial reputation, Henyard continues to share provocative content on social media, reminiscent of her tenure as mayor. Earlier in the year, she stated, “Project Phoenix is about taking a stand against controversy,” asserting that one should not let their reputation be tarnished.

However, Britton, a local resident, expressed relief at the village’s progress without Henyard. “It’s great. I’m so glad it’s moving in the right direction. I hope Fulton County makes the right choice,” she remarked, wishing they wouldn’t face the same difficulties as Dalton.

Additionally, Gardner cautioned potential voters for the upcoming election, saying, “Good luck,” and echoing a sentiment that resonates with those skeptical of Henyard’s capabilities. “As Mr. T always said, ‘Fools are pitied.’”
