Donald Trump Jr. has expressed some “concern” following the arrest of Tiger Woods for drunk driving last week, particularly since Woods is now dating his ex-wife, Vanessa.
Sources have indicated that the situation has caused some unease for Don Jr., as reported on Monday. The outlet noted that he is generally “supportive” of Woods and Vanessa’s relationship, especially concerning their children.
He appreciates that Vanessa and the kids were not involved in the incident. Don Jr. mentioned, “I know Vanessa can make her own decisions, but when it comes to parenting, they’re a team.”
Another report mentioned that he isn’t particularly worried about Woods being around his children, and nothing about the situation has raised alarms for him.
Woods crashed his Land Rover while attempting to overtake a truck, which led to the trailer getting stuck and the vehicle rolling over.
Authorities stated that Woods displayed “signs of impairment” after refusing a urine test, leading to a DUI charge. Interestingly, he did pass a sobriety test, and at the time of the crash, he was alone in the vehicle. Reports indicated that Secret Service agents are careful about Woods driving his children, regardless of whether he’s sober.
President Trump, a friend of Woods, addressed the incident after arriving in Miami, saying, “I feel very bad. He’s having some difficulties. There was an accident, that’s all I know. He’s a very close friend of mine. He’s a great person, a great guy.” He seemed genuinely concerned.
Apparently, Vanessa is also frustrated with Woods, reportedly giving him an ultimatum following the accident. A source shared that he needs to keep things under control, or she may reconsider their relationship.
Woods and Vanessa began dating in March 2025 and went public with their relationship shortly after.
