Tiger Woods is one of the most famous athletes in the sport. And the life of a 15-time major championship winner could soon be recorded in the film.
Amazon MGM Studios has secured the rights to Kevin Cook's “The Tiger Slam: The Inside Story of The Greatest Golf Play.”
The Amazon movie is based on a book that hit the shelf in December. According to Deadline, former President Barack Obama and former President Michelle Obama are “in discussions” to join the project through their company, Higher Ground Productions.

Reinald Marcus Green, who is credited for films including “King Richard,” is also attracting interest in his project on Woods. According to the report, Green is believed to direct the film.
Actor Will Smith won an Academy Award for his portrayal of Richard Williams, the father and former coach of Tennis Greats Serena and Venus Williams in “King Richard.” The Williams sisters were listed as executive producers of the film.

The documentary release schedule was not available.
Woods was preparing for next month's Masters tournament. However, he is unlikely to compete at Augusta National after Woods announced Tuesday that he had surgery to deal with his ruptured Achilles tendon.
“I'm going to go home now and focus on my recovery and rehabilitation. I'd like to thank all the support.” I wrote it on x.
In February, Woods announced that his mother, Kutilda Woods, had passed away at the age of 81.

Obama and Tiger Woods have a history. Obama once traveled to Florida to round golf with Woods during his presidency. Woods visited the White House in June 2014 to celebrate the Presidential Cup American and international golf teams.
