Tiger Woods appeared bewildered and teary-eyed in a mugshot following his arrest on charges of drunken driving. This incident allegedly involved him trying to flip over a truck on a narrow road in Florida.
The 50-year-old golf star looked worn out with bloodshot eyes while sporting a vivid blue polo in the mugshot shared on Friday night.
The Martin County Sheriff’s Office reported that Woods was under the influence of a drug or narcotic when he overturned his Land Rover, leading to a two-vehicle crash on South Beach Road in Jupiter Island around 2 p.m., not far from his residence.
Although he was unharmed, the 15-time major champion allegedly attempted to speed past a flatbed truck but ended up clipping it, causing his SUV to flip.
Authorities noted that Woods seemed lethargic and showed signs of impairment post-accident, but a breath test indicated no alcohol in his system, according to Sheriff John Budensiek.
No illegal substances were found in the wreckage of his vehicle.
The 82-time PGA champion faces charges for driving under the influence, criminal damage to property, and refusing to submit to a legal test.

This recent incident follows a similar scandal nearly a decade ago in 2017. Woods was famously photographed looking disheveled and dazed after being arrested for driving while impaired by a mix of prescription painkillers. Police discovered him asleep with the engine running about 15 miles from his home.
After that incident, he attributed his condition to an unfortunate combination of medications, including Vicodin, Xanax, Ambien, and THC, which he claimed were for managing pain from back surgery.
The latest accident comes shortly after Woods’ return to golf at the TGL Finals.
Former President Trump also commented on Woods’ situation. “I feel really bad. He’s having a little bit of a difficult time,” he told reporters in Miami on Friday. He added, “There was an accident, that’s all I know. A very close friend of mine. He’s a great guy, a great guy. But there were some challenges.”
Woods is currently held in county jail, facing serious consequences. A second DUI conviction in Florida could lead to a maximum sentence of nine months in prison and a year-long requirement to use an ignition interlock device.
