Tiger Woods seen at the White House following news about his relationship with Vanessa Trump

Tiger Woods visited Washington, D.C. this week, just two months after publicly acknowledging his relationship with Vanessa Trump, who is the daughter-in-law of former President Donald Trump.

On Thursday, Senator Jim Banks from Indiana shared a photo on X, showing Woods smiling at the White House alongside him. “I met @tigerwoods today at the White House!” Banks, who is 45, posted, with flag emojis and golf-themed icons.

Woods, now 49, is currently on the mend from an Achilles injury he sustained earlier this year. He had previously been at the White House in February to discuss the ongoing issues between the PGA Tour and LIV Golf.

A month after that meeting, Woods took to social media to confirm his relationship with Vanessa, who was once married to Donald Trump Jr. He expressed, “Love is in the air, life is better for you by my side! We look forward to traveling through life together. At this point, we appreciate the privacy of all people close to our hearts,” sharing two intimate photos of them as a couple on March 23rd.

Woods’ announcement came just days after news of his new relationship circulated. A source mentioned that Vanessa and Woods share common ground—they’re accustomed to media scrutiny and both have experience keeping their lives private. They are also parents.

Woods has two kids, a daughter named Sam, 17, and a son named Charlie, 16, with his ex-wife, Erin Nordegren. They were married in 2004 but divorced in 2010 following a well-publicized scandal.

Despite their past, Woods and Nordegren have maintained a friendly relationship. Vanessa, who is 47, was married to Donald Trump Jr. from 2005 until their split in 2018, and they share five children.

President Trump has voiced his approval of Woods’ relationship with Vanessa, saying in March, “I’m very happy with both of them. Please make both happy.”
