TikTok star Emilie Kiser's husband informed police he was 'distracted' when their child drowned in the pool, according to a report.

The husband of TikTok influencer Emily Kiser told investigators that their 3-year-old son, Trigg, was “distracted” by the couple’s newborn after he drowned in an unattended backyard pool, as reported.

Emily, a 26-year-old mom blogger, was out with a friend on May 12 when the tragic incident occurred at their home in Chandler, Arizona.

Brady Kiser explained to the police that he let Trigg play in the yard but lost track of him when their infant drew his attention away. He described the moment as a parent’s worst nightmare, reporting that he turned back after just a few moments, which felt like “3 to 5” minutes.

Trigg was later airlifted to Phoenix Children’s Hospital in critical condition after the incident, which took place on May 18.

The couple’s parents noted that it was common for Trigg to play outside and mentioned that they had pool covers in place.

Authorities are currently looking into the pool incident and are pursuing a search warrant for video footage from the Kiser home, as detailed by local sources.

Just days prior to the heartbreaking incident, Emily had shared a touching video on Instagram, reflecting on motherhood. The video included clips of family moments among Emily, Brady, Trigg, and the baby, showcasing their time in the delivery room and various joyful experiences.

In that post, she expressed gratitude for motherhood, writing, “I’m forever grateful for being able to be a mom 💖 Happy Mother’s Day 🌸.”

In the aftermath of the tragedy and intense media scrutiny surrounding Trigg’s death, Brady has filed a lawsuit against multiple Maricopa County agencies to keep the records of his son’s death confidential.

Emily maintains a significant following, with 3.1 million followers on TikTok and over 1 million on Instagram.
