Manifesting Wealth with Disco Beats

If attracting wealth were as simple as hitting play on a playlist, we’d all be rolling in money.

Yet, on social media, many Gen Zers seem to think the pathway to riches is through catchy disco tracks rather than hard work.

A 1979 disco classic, “Ring My Bell” by Anita Ward, is experiencing a resurgence in 2026, as countless users resonate with the so-called “Money Magnet” track.

This trend, which originated from TikTok creator @GoddessInanna15, suggests that playing the song on repeat can pull in cash and good fortune. In one popular video, the creator claims it serves as a “matrix hack,” functioning as an “expression and reset frequency.” It’s not merely about “Hertz,” she states, but also ties in with numerology and something she refers to as the “female receiving portal.”

Viewers are prompted to chant affirmations like “I’m rich” and “I’ll cancel my debt” in sync with the music to manifest financial success.

Taking cues from testimonials, fans report winning lottery tickets, receiving unexpected cash, landing new jobs, and otherwindfalls after including this song in their daily routines. Some even add a little dance to the mix.

User @hannahphillips.art shared her experience of doing a three-day “dance ritual” to the song, aiming to attract abundance, and subsequently booked three gigs as a working artist.

Another TikTok user, @lady_shopper99, found her dream wedding dress at a thrift shop all while listening to the track.

It’s no surprise that this trend has caught fire online. Over 5,000 clips utilizing this sound have emerged in recent weeks, with streams of Ward’s hit skyrocketing by 277% in just one month, racking up 2.53 million views within a single week.

Manifestation Isn’t Limited to One Track

Interestingly, the buzz isn’t just about this one eight-minute disco tune.

Other songs believed to promote “frequent richness” include Enya’s 2001 song “May It Be” and Pink Floyd’s 1975 classic “Wish You Were Here,” which have also gained popularity among those interested in manifesting their desires.

Supporters claim that specific “hertz” frequencies, like 432 Hz and 528 Hz—often dubbed the “love frequency”—lead to mystical results.

“Ring My Bell” was originally recorded at 440 Hz, yet many users have shared a modified version at 432 Hz to enhance the “richness” factor.

There’s even an idea that the song’s steady 100 BPM rhythm boosts dopamine levels.

Spotify playlists reflecting this trend have appeared, featuring 528 Hz “soothing” tracks and 852 Hz “sleep” music, all focused on altering moods and intentions.

The Science Behind the Music

However, let’s take a moment to sort myth from reality. Music may not produce magic, yet it undeniably influences our brains in very tangible ways.

According to Dr. Patrick K. Porter, founder of BrainTap Technologies, “Music engages several brain systems at once, affecting our emotional centers, memory networks, and focus pathways.”

He mentions that when rhythm, melody, and personal relevance converge, it creates a meaningful experience in the brain.

Continuous listening can fortify neural pathways, especially when infused with emotion and intent. This ritual can reinforce attitudes of confidence and motivation, acting somewhat like mental rehearsals or affirmations.

Conditioning also plays a critical role. When a particular song is repeatedly associated with desired feelings—like confidence or success—it acts as a trigger. After some time, simply hearing that track can evoke those positive emotions.

In essence, TikTok users may start to link these catchy disco beats with good vibes, focus, and motivation.

This upbeat combination might push them to pursue new job opportunities or maintain a budget, making the song feel like a catalyst for success, even if it merely inspired them to take necessary action.

Experts in the audio and music industry, like Nikki Camilleri, further affirm this idea. She notes, “The emotional impact of a track often comes from its context.” Listening to something during significant moments emotionally “tags” that song.

Over time, the music gains emotional charge, improving the brain’s processing abilities and making various feelings come more easily.

In the end, while it’s not the song itself that creates wealth, it can serve as a handy shortcut to achieving the mindset you’re after.
