Tim Burton and Monica Bellucci End Relationship

It’s official.

Tim Burton and Monica Bellucci have decided to break up after two years of dating.

In a joint statement released on Friday, they expressed, “The fact that Monica Bellucci and Tim Burton decided to part ways is with great respect and deep care for each other.”

Page Six reached out to both Burton and Bellucci for further comments.

After months of speculation, Bellucci confirmed their relationship back in 2023, saying, “What I can say… I’m glad I met the guy first. It’s one of the rare encounters in life. I know a man, I love him, and now I’m going to meet the director, another adventure begins.”

She added, “I love Tim and I have a lot of respect for Tim Burton.”

Burton, 67, cast the 60-year-old Bellucci in “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice,” where she played Dolores Laferve.

The two reportedly began dating after Burton received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Lumiere Film Festival in Lyon, France, in October 2022.

Previously, Burton was in a long-term relationship with actress Helena Bonham Carter, which ended after 13 years in 2014.

The couple shares a 21-year-old son, Billy, and a 17-year-old daughter, Nell. They initially met on the set of “Planet of the Apes” in 2001 and worked together on several films, including “Alice in Wonderland” and “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.”

Bonham Carter has spoken candidly about their painful separation, describing how complex it was, given they were never officially married but still shared a deep bond.

Bellucci was earlier married to actor Vincent Cassel from 1999 to 2013, and they have two daughters, Deva, 18, and Léonie, 13.
