Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, who was selected on Wednesday to be Vice President Kamala Harris’ running mate in the 2024 presidential election, agreed to debate Republican vice presidential candidate J.D. Vance. The debate is scheduled to take place on October 1 in New York City.stOrganizer CBS News.

However, former President Donald Trump’s campaign has yet to officially confirm the dates, raising questions about Rep. Vance’s (R-Ohio) involvement.
