Minnesota Governor Tim Walz praised the extremist imam Assad Zaman, who posted content promoting Hitler, as a “great teacher,” contradicting claims by Kamala Harris’ campaign that Walz and Zaman had no personal relationship.
As Breitbart News noted last week: Report By Gabe Kaminski Washington ExaminerWaltz “has worked on several occasions with local Muslim leaders who have justified Hamas’ terrorist acts against Israel and once shared a pro-Hitler film on social media.” Waltz’s Muslim American Association of Minnesota also received state grant funding.
The Kamala Harris campaign countered, arguing that there was no personal relationship between Walz and Zaman.
A Harris campaign representative told me, “There is no personal relationship between the Governor and Ms. Harris. Governor Walz strongly condemns Hamas terrorism.”

Kaminski uncovered a video in which Waltz appeared to praise Zaman as a “great teacher” who he spent time with “with.”
