Timberwolves avoided ‘Inside the NBA’ over Draymond Green comments

Even when he’s not playing, Draymond Green is getting on opponents’ nerves.

Once again, the Minnesota Timberwolves won.

According to a report from The AthleticThe Timberwolves did not have any players appear on TNT’s “Inside the NBA” following Tuesday’s Game 4 win over the Dallas Mavericks after the team took umbrage with Green’s comments about Rudy Gobert and others.

Green served as a panelist on the show and criticized the play of Gobert and Karl-Anthony Towns.

The Mavs then defeated the Timberwolves in five games and will face the Boston Celtics in the NBA Finals, starting June 6.

“The decision was a show of support for Gobert and Towns, who had been the target of derisive and personal criticism from Green,” the report said.

During the postgame show following the Mavericks’ Game 2 win over the Timberwolves on the road, Green heard a chant of “Draymond is no good” and responded, “Rudy is no good, not me. What did I do?”
