Times Square to host of 65-foot-long hot dog installation

The world’s largest hot dog, measuring 65 feet long, will be in Times Square on April 30th.

The creation is the brainchild of Brooklyn artists Jen Catron and Paul Outlaw; Who will “take street meat to new heights” with its glamorous method – but it’s not the real thing! – A tubular steak sculpture promoting the Times Square Alliance.

The artists, who enjoy using food in their works, said that at noon, a hydraulic mechanism will lift the sculpture into the sky and shower passersby with confetti.

“This is a perfect representation of America’s Times Square,” Catron quipped.
