Timothée Chalamet Celebrates Knicks’ Victory
Timothée Chalamet, a major Hollywood star thanks to films like “Dune,” showcased his enthusiasm as a Knicks fan on Monday night after the team triumphed over the Cavaliers, marking their first time reaching the NBA Finals in 27 years.
Postgame snapshots revealed Chalamet joyfully celebrating with Knicks president Leon Rose, where they posed for photos together.
In another image, he was spotted celebrating alongside renowned Knicks superfan Spike Lee. Earlier, the two had shared a moment on Chalamet’s Instagram Story.
During the postgame excitement, Chalamet was caught on video sharing a memorable exchange with Mikal Bridges, referring to him as the “GOAT.” “Bro, I brought your jersey home,” he said to him.
As the night unfolded, Chalamet jokingly flipped off Jalen Brunson, affectionately calling him “The King.” He later posted a picture of the team that won the Eastern Conference trophy, captioning it, “Knicks to Mother King, Finals, that’s it.”
Chalamet, donned in an Eastern Conference championship hat, was among several notable figures present at Rocket Arena during this historic moment. Celebrities like Ben Stiller, Tracy Morgan, Fat Joe, Patrick Ewing, and Walt “Clyde” Frazier joined him in celebrating.
His girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, was also in attendance, and the two were seen enjoying themselves next to Morgan during the game.
Knicks owner James Dolan celebrated the victory with Lee as well, adding to the electric atmosphere. The Knicks demonstrated dominance with a 33-9 lead in fast break points and a staggering 58-24 advantage in bench points, effectively embarrassing the Cavaliers.
Brunson, who earned the Eastern Conference Finals MVP title, finished the game with 15 points on 6-of-14 shooting, while Karl-Anthony Towns led the team with 19 points.
Looking ahead, the Knicks have a bit of a waiting period before the NBA Finals, set to begin on June 3rd. They are still figuring out who they’ll be up against, as the series between the Spurs and Thunder is currently tied at two games each.
