The Titans are observing closely.
Tennessee, holding the No. 1 selection in the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft, had plans for a private workout with projected top 10 choice Shedeur Sanders on April 9th. As reported by Jim Wyatt, a veteran journalist for the team’s website.
Per the report, the Titans believe they possess ample insights regarding former Colorado quarterback Sanders after watching his college performances and attending the Pro Day on Friday.
Both Sanders and receiver/defensive back Travis Hunter showcased their talents at the Colorado event ahead of the draft set for April 24.
Dion Sanders, head coach of Colorado and Shedeur’s father, expressed confidence that his players are the finest prospects in the 2025 draft class.
“I believe there’s one player who stands out as the most suitable candidate in the draft,” Dion stated to the media on Friday. “They are not a gamble. Shedeur excels annually. He has consistently led college football.”
Young Sanders is widely regarded as the leading quarterback available according to numerous draft analysts, along with being ranked among the top two quarterback prospects this year, alongside former Miami quarterback Cam Ward.
Will Revis, Brandon Allen, and Tim Boyle are potential candidates to select either Ward or Sanders, as the Titans currently have three quarterbacks on their roster.
“We will proceed with thorough investigation,” the head coach stated. Callahan mentioned to reporters earlier this week.
“Our actions are not directed towards any specific player. I’m not suggesting that anyone will be ruled out. We’re ensuring that the process is conducted correctly.”
The Giants, who dispatched a substantial contingent to observe Sanders and Hunter on Friday, may be poised to select a dynamic quarterback with their third pick.
