Tennessee Titans star defensive tackle Jeffrey Simmons didn’t mind the radio host being on-air after a training camp session on Tuesday, and came clean to the host about his social media posts.
In the now-viral video, Simmons, who was off-camera, can be heard yelling at Buck Rising of 104.5 The Zone, who was trying to call Titans cornerback Roger McCreary onto the TV for an interview.
During the heated exchange, Simmons can be heard calling Rising a “p—y.”

As Rising’s colleagues were helping McCleary put on a headset for the interview, Rising’s attention quickly shifted to Simmons, who began shouting at him.
“You’re welcome to talk whenever you want,” Rising said to Simmons, who was out of earshot after the broadcast ended. But once Rising said they were on air, Simmons finally came within microphone range.

Rising offered Simmons the opportunity to discuss it on the broadcast, given that he was right there at the table, but the defensive tackle declined.
“Stop talking on social media and talk to me!” Simmons can be heard yelling back.
This exchange with Simmons, a leader in the Titans locker room, doesn’t look good.

Simmons was also seen taking part in a fight at training camp on Tuesday that was instigated in part by Simmons, after Simmons was seen punching rookie offensive lineman JC Latham and Rising tweeted about it.
“Simmons punched Latham after a shoving match… umpire said #98 will be ejected in the match. He came on for the next two rounds and started brawling right away. Sloppy. Simmons needs to focus,” Rising posted on X.
New Titans head coach Brian Callahan allowed Simmons to stay in practice even though referees said he would likely be ejected from a regular-season game.
Simmons signed a $94 million contract extension that keeps him under the Titans’ control through the 2027 season, making him one of the highest-paid defensive tackles in the NFL.
