Seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady doesn’t hold back on the field or with his ideas.
The former Patriots quarterback has some issues with the current state of NFL players, and he talked about it all on a recent podcast appearance on DeepCut with VicBlends.
“I think the biggest problem with a lot of these kids these days is it’s about them. Their brand, their social media, and if it’s about me and not about us, we can succeed as a team. There’s no way,” Brady said.
Brady went on to say that the “gist of life” is “how do you help others finish the race, not just yourself?”
Jason Whitlock couldn’t agree more.

Whitlock speculates that the reason Tom Brady thinks life and sports are about uplifting his teammates and those around him is because his needs were met as a child. He had two devoted parents, and he probably thought that was wonderful.”
“His focus is on a different generation of athletes whose needs are not being met on either side. Their families have been torn apart and neither father nor mother was home,” he added.
Whitlock believes it creates a sense of entitlement in the younger generation.
“This past generation is more selfish because they have a hole in their hearts,” he says.
