Former NFL GOAT quarterback Tom Brady may finally be ready to give up on his dream of returning to the league and pursue a career as an announcer, something he’s been hoping for since his first retirement from pro football, but it seems he has one regret.

“What I wanted to change was, OK, there’s still a part of me that I love… You see it in the younger players, like Patrick. [Mahomes] “I see myself as a quarterback, laughing and having fun,” Brady said. “I think, ‘That was me once upon a time!’ What happened? I got too serious.”
“Next thing you know, you’re not sleeping, you’re not eating properly, you’re partying a lot and you’re feeling overwhelmed. You’re like, ‘I don’t really like how I feel,'” he added.
Brady now seems to feel like he took it all a little too seriously.
“so much [of]”I think early on in my career, I was just trying to meet people’s new expectations. I was still a 14-year-old kid who just wanted to fit in. I was like, ‘I just want to get on the field and play,'” Brady told the host. “Now, there are so many other options out there.”
Still, he said he wants to take it easy as he enters the next phase of his life.
“You just learn from it and think, ‘Okay, this is the next phase of life, let’s have some more fun,'” he said.
Brady postponed the start of his broadcasting career until after his retirement in 2022. However, he soon retracted his retirement and retired again after one more year in the NFL.
Throughout all of this, Brady has been postponing a commitment to a career as an announcer that he agreed to before retiring. Now, his first assignment in front of the camera will be revealed in Week 1 when the Browns take on the Dallas Cowboys in Cleveland, Ohio.
