Tom Brady shared his ‘regret’ about the roast: ‘It’s hard for my kids’

Tom Brady Reflects on Roast Experience

Tom Brady has stated he won’t participate in another roast. Last year, Netflix had a special where top comedians took turns roasting him, and, understandably, some jokes touched on his very public divorce from Gisele Bündchen.

Brady shared his feelings of “remorse” during a recent appearance on Logan Paul’s podcast. He reflected, “That was tough for my kids, certainly.” He mentioned that going into the roast, he had no idea what to expect. “I enjoy laughing at myself; it felt like the locker room,” he said. Interestingly, he finds joy in the tough jokes that come his way.

He admitted, “I f— ed up.” Brady acknowledged that parenting is challenging and there’s no perfect guidebook. “As you grow, you have to evaluate yourself as a parent.” Despite any regrets, he described the roasting event as an amazing experience. “That night, it was electric. Crazy, we ended up on Cloud 9,” he added, saying he would always remember it.

However, it seems not all reactions were positive. A source indicated that Gisele felt hurt by some of the jokes, particularly given her new relationship with jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente. According to the source, some comments were perceived as “disgusting and rude.”

Football legend David Beckham reached out to Brady after the roast, wanting to check in on him.
