Tom Cruise describes Nicole Kidman as a ‘wonderful actress’ in uncommon remarks about his ex.

Tom Cruise Reflects on His Marriage to Nicole Kidman

Tom Cruise recently spoke about his past with ex-wife Nicole Kidman during an interview with Sight and Sound Magazine. The couple, who was married from 1990 to 2001, collaborated on Stanley Kubrick’s film “Eyes Wide Shut,” released in 1999. Cruise described the experience as memorable and shared his excitement about working with Kubrick, a director whose films he deeply admired.

“It was a fantastic experience,” he said, recalling his preparations for the film. “I flew to his house and landed in his backyard. I read the script just the day before our meeting. We talked about everything, including his past works and other directors.” He mentioned how dynamic the project was, noting that the script felt like “an idea” that would evolve as they moved forward with filming.

Cruise also expressed appreciation for Kidman, acknowledging her exceptional talent. Their journey began while filming “Days of Thunder,” and during their time together, they adopted two children—Isabella and Connor. After their divorce in 2001, both moved on; Kidman married country star Keith Urban in 2006, while Cruise wed actress Katie Holmes the same year, welcoming daughter Suri before their separation in 2012.

Recently, Cruise has been linked to actress Ana de Armas. The pair has been seen together on several occasions, including in London on De Armas’ birthday. Their relationship, while under speculation, might be more than just friendship. They were even spotted boarding a helicopter together recently, stirring more curiosity about their connection.

Despite the evolving dynamics in his personal life, Cruise’s reflections on his past with Kidman present a glimpse into his memories of their shared experiences, both on screen and off.
