Tom Cruise Supports Ana de Armas’ Upcoming Film
Tom Cruise has expressed his enthusiasm for Ana de Armas’ new film, “The Ballerina.” This comes as the two are generating buzz regarding potential romantic involvement.
At the premiere of his film “Mission: Impossible – The Final Estimation” in London, Cruise shared his excitement about the action thriller featuring De Armas. “I just saw the movie. It’s kicking-,” he remarked, beaming with enthusiasm.
He went on to say, “Ah, man, that’s right in that tone. It’s right in that big world. You’ll love it.”
A Glimpse into “The Ballerina”
“The Ballerina” is the fifth installment in the “John Wick” series, featuring Keanu Reeves as the lead character. In this upcoming film, De Armas plays an assassin turned ballerina, seeking revenge for her father’s death. The film’s release date is set for June 6th.
While Reeves and Ian McShane have appeared in the previous films, their roles are shifted in this production. The cast also includes notable actors like Angelica Houston and Gabriel Byrne, with Lance Reddick making his final on-screen appearance.
After Cruise’s praises, De Armas hinted at potential projects they might collaborate on in the future. Responding to a question about her work with Cruise, she said, “Yes, very fun, and we definitely work on a lot. There are not only one, but several projects. I’m very excited.”
Rumors surrounding the duo’s relationship reignited when they were seen spending time together, especially around De Armas’ recent birthday.
Romantic Speculations
The two were spotted strolling through London, just a day before De Armas’ birthday, which further fueled speculation about their connection. They were also recently photographed leaving a helicopter together, which, let’s say, isn’t something you see every day.
Initially, sources indicated they weren’t romantically involved, but that seemed to change as they spent more time together. Their first sighting that raised eyebrows was on the eve of Valentine’s Day in Soho, where the duo was seen enjoying each other’s company.
In a past interview, De Armas reflected on the challenges of action roles and praised Cruise as a motivating force, stating, “It’s tough and painful, and your body hurts everywhere, but it’s very rewarding.” She humorously added that she wasn’t quite at Cruise’s level yet but fully appreciated his dedication.
