Tom Holland was reportedly hospitalized after sustaining an injury while filming Spider-Man: Brand New Day in Glasgow, Scotland.
Production of the much-anticipated Marvel movie was halted on Friday when Holland received treatment for a mild concussion, according to reports.
Sources close to the film indicated that the actor would take a precautionary break but is expected to return to the set within a few days.
According to The US Sun, Holland’s injury occurred during a stunt that went awry.
Attempts to reach a representative for Holland were met with no immediate response.
In spite of his injuries, he unexpectedly appeared alongside his fiancée, Zendaya, at a pub quiz event for The Brothers Trust, a charity he runs with his three brothers, Sam, Harry, and Paddy Holland.
On Saturday, both actors attended an event at Christie’s auction house in London.
Holland served as the host and quizmaster at the event, awarding winners with various prizes, including a round of golf with him.
Last month, the couple was seen together on the set of Spider-Man: Brand New Day in London.
In some previous films, Zendaya’s character, Michelle “MJ” Jones, has seen the Spider-Man character, played by Holland, in action while juggling her own side projects.
In July, Holland expressed his excitement about reprising his role as Peter Parker in future Marvel films, stating he was “over the moon.” He mentioned the challenges of filming during COVID restrictions, which limited their production scope.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to hit theaters in July 2026.
