Tommy DeVito Represents Mother Nature at Super Bowl 2026
Tommy DeVito made quite the entrance at the 2026 Super Bowl, arriving in a outfit that screamed “nature.” The 27-year-old backup quarterback for the Patriots stepped out at Levi’s Stadium dressed in an earth-toned Sherpa sweatsuit, looking reminiscent of a grizzly bear.
The ensemble, completed with Air Jordans and white sunglasses, naturally stirred up some chatter on social media ahead of the game.
One user on X remarked, “Tommy’s look is sure to grab attention even before kickoff.” Another chimed in with a witty comment: “Did he bring cutlets for his pregame meal? You can take a guy out of Jersey, but you can’t take Jersey out of the guy.” Former Giants quarterback also threw in some light humor about his appearance.
DraftKings even conducted a survey on DeVito’s outfit, asking followers, “If you didn’t know any better, what would you guess Tommy DeVito does for a living based on this costume?” Responses included suggestions like “lead singer of a boy band” and “rental counter manager at a high-end ski resort.”
This quirky outfit was actually part of a promotional deal with Columbia Sportswear, which DeVito showcased in an Instagram post earlier that day. The collaboration was designed to highlight Columbia’s latest quirky innovation developed with Breakside Brewing ahead of the matchup.
Back in January, they introduced a beer dubbed “Nature Calls,” which is, interestingly enough, made with bear dung. There’s a lot to unpack there, really.
Underneath his faux fur coat, DeVito sported a T-shirt featuring a bear logo, capturing the spirit of the unusual brew. The beer, described as huckleberry and honey-flavored, was available at Columbia’s booth during The Players Tailgate ahead of the Super Bowl.
As for whether or not DeVito actually tried the beer? Well, that’s still up in the air.
Currently in his first season with the Patriots, DeVito previously played for the Giants for two years. He applied for a government exemption in New England back in August 2025.
