Tommy Fleetwood joins Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy’s TGL, lands with LAGC

Los Angeles Golf Club, one of the six TGL teams, has officially added a fourth member to its roster. Tommy Fleetwood announced Wednesday that he is the final piece of the puzzle.

He joins Collin Morikawa, Justin Rose and Sahit Segala who are already signed with the team.

Fleetwood recently won the 2024 season-opening Dubai Invitational, earning him his seventh win on the DP World Tour.

The British fighter defeated Rory McIlroy earlier in the week, giving him a huge confidence boost. Fleetwood has yet to win on the PGA Tour, but he keeps knocking on the door. His most recent opportunity came at the 2023 RBC Canadian Open, where he surprisingly lost to Nick Taylor in a playoff.

He was also part of the team that won the European Ryder Cup in Italy in September of this year. Fleetwood scored the winning goal and was officially confirmed to represent Europe.

LAGC has a mixed roster of two American and two international players on its team. Morikawa and Segala are from California and are being given the chance to represent their home state.

LAGC has an ownership group that includes Serena, Venus Williams and Alexis Ohanian. The Antetokounmpo brothers, Alex Morgan, Servando Carrasco and Michelle Wie West are also affiliated with the club as limited partners.
