Tommy Lee and Brittany Furlan address marriage misunderstanding following catfishing incident

Tommy Lee and Brittany Furlan are still together, despite her recent catfishing incident.

On Saturday, the musician took to Instagram to clear up rumors of a split, posting a selfie with his wife and stating, “Hey fake news, we’re not separated or divorced!! Let your s-t together!!!”

Furlan, who is 38, also chimed in on Instagram, sharing a kiss with Lee while playing Sophie Woodhouse’s song “Layla.”

The couple’s relationship faced speculation after it was revealed that Furlan had been catfished by someone pretending to be Ronnie Radke, the frontman of Falling in Reverse. This admission led to split rumors.

In May, Furlan spoke on TikTok about wanting to do better with Lee, saying she felt “good.” She acknowledged her past behavior, claiming, “I’m not someone who should be talking to someone else while married,” while also explaining that Lee was upset about the situation.

The catfish had been trying to interact with Furlan by claiming she liked certain social media posts. Furlan defended her actions, stating that she often engages with her husband’s friends as a show of support.

“I’m always in everyone’s DMs, girls, guys, anything. I love people,” she added. “You’re nothing special.” This incident understandably made Lee unhappy when he found out.

Furlan referred to the whole situation as “embarrassing” and asked social media users to give her space regarding it.

In a podcast episode last month, she mentioned that these challenges paradoxically brought her and Lee closer together, saying, “I think we really faced it, ‘Oh, what about life if we didn’t have each other?'”

Furlan emphasized that their marriage, which began in 2019, is complex and has its difficulties. Lee previously had marriages to Elaine Stauchuk, Heather Locklear, and Pamela Anderson.
