Victoria Jones Found Dead in San Francisco

Victoria Jones, daughter of actor Tommy Lee Jones, was discovered dead, likely due to an overdose, on January 1. Reports indicate that she had faced several legal troubles prior to her death.

According to court documents, Victoria was arrested on May 14, 2025, in Santa Cruz, California, charged with public intoxication and resisting arrest. She had a pre-trial conference scheduled for January 27. At 34 years old, she was found unresponsive in the Fairmont San Francisco hotel. Emergency responders reported that she might have suffered an overdose.

The San Francisco Fire Department confirmed they received a call for a medical emergency around 2:52 a.m. on January 1. Upon arrival, paramedics conducted an assessment and pronounced her dead at the scene.

The 911 call categorized the incident as a “Code 3 – Overdose, Color Change,” which indicates serious concerns regarding her condition. Law enforcement arrived shortly afterward, and authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding her tragic death.

Tommy Lee Jones released a heartfelt statement afterward, expressing gratitude for the support they’ve received during this difficult period. He emphasized the need for privacy, stating, “We appreciate all the kind words, thoughts, and prayers. Please respect our privacy during this difficult time.” The message was issued on behalf of the family of Victoria Kafka Jones.
