Tony Finau shot a 5-under 66 on Friday at the Tour Championship to vault himself to the top of the leaderboard.
He is currently in sole sixth place at nine under par, but Scottie Scheffler continues to keep his cool and hold onto the lead.
Finau remains positive despite the big gap he has to close to win the Tour Championship.
“No matter what happens, there's a lot worth playing for,” Finau said after Friday's round. “FedEx did a great job of giving us a big bonus this week, no matter what happens.”

The total prize purse for this week's Tour Championship is $100 million. After the regular season, the top 10 players on the Comcast Business Tour received at least $2 million in bonus prize money, depending on their ranking. Scheffler earned $8 million for finishing first in the standings.
If he wins this week, he could see another $25 million in his account.
But not everyone can win $25 million. The prize money up for grabs proves that, as Finau claims, there is a lot of money to compete for. With only 30 players making it to Atlanta, it's only a lucky few who will get to win that huge amount.
“We're always looking to move up the rankings wherever we are and I think that's true,” he said. “When you get into a situation where you don't have a chance to win, you want to finish the year on the best possible footing no matter what. So on Saturday and Sunday, you just give it your all and try your best until the end.”
If Finau finishes sixth on Sunday, he'll take home $3.5 million, which would be a great way to end the season.
Everyone wants to win, but only one person can win. But that doesn't make the athletes lose their competitive spirit. They want to finish as high as possible and take home a nice prize.
