Tonight marks the start of Week 10 in the 2025 NFL season, showcasing an AFC West face-off as the Las Vegas Raiders visit the Denver Broncos. The Broncos are favored by 9.5 points at home, with the game’s total set at 42.5. Denver aims to hold onto its lead in the division, while the Raiders strive to recover from their recent overtime defeat to the Jaguars.
Here’s a look at some standout players for Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) in this Thursday night matchup.
Bo Nix, QB, Denver Broncos (FLEX $13,800, CPT $20,700)
This season hasn’t been perfect for Nix, but he’s managed to deliver consistently, potentially pushing the Broncos to a seven-game winning streak tonight. Averaging approximately 21 fantasy points per game, he’s thrown 17 touchdowns, ranking third in the league ahead of Week 10. This uptick in performance could be linked to his substantial workload, with an average of 35.8 pass attempts per game, placing him sixth in that category.
On top of that, Nix’s running ability adds to his fantasy appeal, as he is among just nine QBs this season with over 200 rushing yards. The Raiders have shown a mixed bag in defending against mobile quarterbacks, suggesting that some improvisation could enhance the Broncos’ offensive scheme tonight.
Brock Bowers, TE, Las Vegas Raiders (FLEX $12,000, CPT $18,000)
Bowers made quite the comeback from a knee injury, catching 12 passes for a staggering 127 yards and three touchdowns against the Jaguars last Sunday. It’s almost as if he picked up right where he left off. With Jacobi Meyers being traded before the deadline, Bowers could see even more targets moving forward.
He’s definitely a strong captain choice, even though Denver’s defense can be tough.
JK Dobbins, RB, Denver Broncos (FLEX $10,600, CPT $15,900)
Dobbins has been a pivotal player for the Broncos this season, registering 61 rushing yards in a close win over the Texans last Sunday. Currently, he ranks sixth in the NFL with 135 carries and fifth with 695 rushing yards.
Every touch seems valuable for him, as he ranks in the top 10 for various metrics, indicating he may be a solid choice for a captain role.
RJ Harvey, RB, Denver Broncos (FLEX $7,600, CPT $11,400)
As Dobbins holds down the main role in the Broncos’ backfield, Harvey is starting to make his presence felt as a backup. He scored twice against the Cowboys two weeks ago and recorded five catches for 51 yards and another touchdown last Sunday. Seems like he’s gaining momentum and is likely to get a good number of touches tonight.
Denver Broncos Defense (FLEX $6,800, CPT $10,200)
This Broncos defense has been especially disruptive, leading the league in sacks with 40 while allowing just 18.4 points per game. They’ll have an opportunity to target Raiders QB Geno Smith, who has tied for the highest number of interceptions this season at 11 and carries a hefty sack rate of 7.8%. Expect them to create a couple of turnovers.
Michael Mayer, TE, Las Vegas Raiders (FLEX $4,600, CPT $6,900)
Bowers’ return doesn’t necessarily mean Mayer will be less impactful. The Raiders’ secondary tight end recently put up a 50-yard game with a touchdown against the Titans and still garnered seven targets despite Bowers being back last Sunday. With Jakobi Meyers now in Jacksonville, there’s a good chance Mayer could shine even more in the weeks ahead. Keep an eye on him.
