Top DFS selections for Broncos vs Bills in the Divisional round

Broncos Host Bills in AFC Divisional Round

The Broncos, holding the top seed in the AFC, are set to face the Buffalo Bills this Saturday in Denver, entering the game as a 1.5-point underdog. The Bills, led by Josh Allen, are coming to Mile High after the Broncos managed to win a tight match against the Jaguars in the wild-card round, which, by the way, has left Denver well-rested.

Interestingly, the Bills are favored to win, though it’s a bit unexpected. Still, there’s no denying Allen’s ability to elevate the team when it matters. He might not be at full health, but I’m pretty sure he’ll still be on the field.

In light of the upcoming game, let’s dive into the best DFS plays for this divisional round matchup.

Josh Allen, QB, Bills (FLEX $13,400, CPT $20,100)

Allen rushed for two touchdowns during the first round, which makes him a solid pick as a captain, despite his high cost. The Broncos have a strong defense, but honestly, the Jaguars were also tough. Allen has a knack for accumulating fantasy points quickly.

Bo Nix, QB, Broncos (FLEX $11,800, CPT $17,700)

Nix might not run as frequently as Allen, but he brings a lot to the table. He doesn’t have the same level of receivers, but his completion percentages can still be good. Plus, his fantasy potential is significantly higher than other Broncos players. With playoffs in play, it’s the perfect time for him to take risks.

James Cook, RB, Bills (FLEX $12,600, CPT $18,900)

Cook, named the NFL rushing champion for 2025, struggled a bit against the Jaguars, only managing 46 yards on 15 carries. The Broncos also boast a solid run defense, which might make some people hesitant to use him as captain this week. Still, if it means getting a potential rushing leader at a lower-than-usual roster percentage, it might be worth considering.

Jaleel McLaughlin, RB, Broncos (FLEX $4,000, CPT $6,000)

McLaughlin didn’t see a lot of action in Week 18, with just seven touches, yet he still managed to gain 58 yards on those carries. While it doesn’t guarantee he’ll take over as the primary back, Sean Payton tends to keep players involved. Plus, the Bills really have issues with their run defense. I expect him to be a popular choice because of his efficiency last week at a great price.

Pat Bryant, WR, Broncos (FLEX $3,600, CPT $5,400)

Bryant seems to be a bigger asset than his roster price suggests. He’s had a consistent number of receptions over the past five games. Last week, he was second in snap percentage to Courtland Sutton. While Sutton is likely to be the primary target, Bryant’s role could be pivotal in this playoff round.

Dalton Kincaid, TE, Bills (FLEX $7,600, CPT $11,400)

Kahlil Shakir could see a significant amount of targets, especially since Brandin Cooks is trending upward with Gabe Davis and Tyrell Shavers sidelined. Although their costs are a bit high for value picks, they can still be worthwhile options.

I’m really optimistic about Kincaid’s potential against the Broncos, especially given his reasonable price. While Denver’s defense is generally strong, they do allow a decent number of receptions and yards to tight ends. Kincaid scored last week, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he finds the end zone again this time around.
