Tonight wraps up Week 15 of the 2025 NFL season with an AFC clash, featuring the Miami Dolphins taking on the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers are favored by three points at home, with the over/under set at 43.5. Coming off a four-game winning streak, the Dolphins find themselves in a must-win situation to keep their playoff hopes alive. On the flip side, a victory for the Steelers would allow them to hold a one-game advantage over the Ravens in the AFC North race.
Here are some standout DFS plays for the showdown this evening.
Devon Ashen, RB, Miami Dolphins (FLEX $13,400, CPT $20,100)
In last Sunday’s 34-10 victory over the Jets, Achan made an impact, racking up 92 rushing yards and a touchdown in just seven carries before leaving the game in the second quarter due to a rib injury. Coach Mike McDaniel mentioned that while he could have returned, it was deemed safer to hold him out. Achan has been a key contributor to Miami’s offense, and he’s exceeded 1,000 rushing yards this season. He leads the league in yards per carry and explosive run rate, averaging 19.7 fantasy points per game in DFS—definitely a captain option.
DK Metcalf, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers (FLEX $12,600, CPT $18,900)
Metcalf has been a reliable target for Aaron Rodgers amid a fluctuating offense. He just had his best game of the season, catching 7 of 12 passes for 148 yards in a 27-22 win over the Ravens, which helped the Steelers stay atop the AFC North. His ability to gain yardage after the catch has been notable; he has 374 yards after the catch, ranking him 9th among wide receivers this year. The Dolphins’ defense may provide him with opportunities for big plays tonight.
Kenneth Gainwell, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers (FLEX $8,800, CPT $13,200)
In last week’s matchup against the Ravens, Gainwell had a solid outing, contributing 15 rushing yards and a touchdown on four carries, along with six receptions for 27 yards. This marks the third time in four games that he’s had at least 10 touches, making him a significant asset as Pittsburgh pushes for a district title. With Jalen Warren’s health in question, the Steelers might depend even more on Gainwell tonight.
Ollie Gordon II, RB, Miami Dolphins (FLEX $5,800, CPT $8,700)
Gordon scored a touchdown in the fourth quarter against the Jets last week, bringing his season total to four. After Achan’s exit, Jalen Wright took on a larger role, gaining 107 yards on 24 carries. That might be a one-off occurrence, as Gordon is expected to handle his usual duties tonight as the RB2 for Miami.
Pat Freiermuth, TE, Pittsburgh Steelers (FLEX $5,400, CPT $8,100)
While Freiermuth hasn’t been a focal point in the Steelers’ offense this season, he has made some crucial plays, including a touchdown against the Bears. Considering the Dolphins have allowed the fourth-most receiving yards, this matchup could be favorable for him.
Greg Dulcich, TE, Miami Dolphins (FLEX $4,400, CPT $6,600)
Dulcich, like Freiermuth, has been key for moving the chains in recent outings. He’ll be up against a Steelers defense that has given up eight touchdowns to tight ends this season, which might create an opportunity for him to score his first of the year tonight.
