Top DFS selections for Eagles versus Lions in Week 11

The Detroit Lions, with a record of 6-3, are set to face the 7-2 Philadelphia Eagles in a Sunday Night Football showdown, showcasing two teams leading their divisions. Each team has some fantasy players with strong potential, but, of course, not all can fit into your DFS lineup.

One notable injury for the Lions is tight end Sam LaPorta, who will miss this week due to a back issue. Aside from that, there are several appealing fantasy options. These include two starting quarterbacks, two running backs, four wide receivers, and a tight end, plus some budget-friendly choices to help fit those stars into your roster.

Here are some top DFS picks for the game.

Jameson Williams, WR, Lions (FLEX $8,200, CPT $12,300)

Lions’ head coach Dan Campbell has been focused on getting Williams back on track after the break, and things seem to be improving. With Campbell taking over play-calling duties recently, Williams has taken another step forward. Quarterback Jared Goff called his route a ‘cheat code,’ and while he’s playing more conservatively, there’s still plenty of upside.

AJ Brown, WR, Eagles (FLEX $9,200, CPT $13,800)

Brown has expressed dissatisfaction with his role lately, and the organization is actively trying to turn that around this week. His productivity has dipped, but he’s been trending up overall this season. They really need him to step up—especially in this game—so even if he doesn’t have a big fantasy game, I doubt it’s due to a lack of effort.

Jalen Hurts, QB, Eagles (FLEX $13,000, CPT $19,500)

Hurts is the priciest option on FanDuel, making him a bit of a wild card. If he plays well, he could really make an impact. Given the Lions’ offense can score quickly, Hurts will need to be on his game both running and passing. Scoring a touchdown or two could be crucial for fulfilling his captain role, which is definitely an option in high-stakes matchups.

Dallas Goedert, TE, Eagles (FLEX $7,600, CPT $11,400)

The Eagles are in good health and unlikely to rely on backups heavily. While RB Will Shipley could be an interesting budget pick, I’m inclined to lean toward players in the Lions’ secondary who might see more action with LaPorta out. Goedert remains a solid choice for this matchup; he offers touchdown potential alongside decent receiving stats.

Isaac Tesla, WR, Lions (FLEX $2,600, CPT $3,900)

Tesla has seen an uptick in snaps recently and has demonstrated potential even with limited opportunities. With LaPorta sidelined, I expect him to see even more playing time, which could be beneficial for DFS players this week.

Brock Wright, TE, Lions (FLEX $2,200, CPT $3,300)

Wright is currently questionable due to an ankle injury, but he’s likely to play. He’s set to take over LaPorta’s role if all goes well. While his upside is limited, he has a fair chance of finding the end zone in this game.
