Top fantasy football waiver wire additions for Week 10
Hello and welcome to the Week 10 Exemption Wire Watch!
The NFL weekend games are nearly complete, with just one more prime-time matchup left before we officially hit the halfway mark of the 2025 regular season. Monday night’s game between the Cardinals and Cowboys is still on the horizon, but it’s never too early to scope out players who could help bolster your roster for the upcoming week.
Here, we’ll highlight some players worth considering off the waiver wire ahead of Week 10. As a quick note, we consider “exempt additions” as those who have been incorporated into up to 60% of rosters in the league.
The Falcons lost to the Patriots 24-23 on Sunday, a tough blow as they suffer their third consecutive loss and their playoff hopes are dimming. Still, Penix made a commendable comeback from his knee injury, passing for 221 yards and three touchdowns, scoring 22.7 fantasy points for the week. The second-year quarterback seems to be gaining stability after a rocky start, throwing for a total of 712 yards, five touchdowns, and no interceptions over his last three games.
Penix and the Falcons are set to travel to Germany next Sunday for a crucial matchup against the Colts. If you believe he can rise to the occasion in such a high-pressure game, he may still be available on your waiver wire.
Week 10 matchups: vs. Indianapolis Colts, 9:30 a.m. ET (Berlin game)
Joe Flacco, QB, Cincinnati Bengals (45.6%)
Ah, the infamous Flacco! The 40-year-old quarterback had a standout day against the Bears, throwing for a career-high 470 yards and four touchdowns, despite two interceptions. His performance led to a dramatic fourth-quarter push, but the Bengals ultimately fell 47-42, largely due to their defense’s inability to hold a lead.
Even so, since joining the Bengals last month, the Super Bowl 47 MVP has provided significant support for Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. While the Bengals are on a bye this week, having Flacco around could prove beneficial in the second half of the season.
Week 10 matchups: Bye week
Brian Robinson Jr., RB, San Francisco 49ers (44.3%)
Here’s B-Rob! You might remember him from last season. He had a notable outing in the 49ers’ 34-24 win over the Giants, gaining 53 yards and scoring a touchdown on five carries. Since being traded to San Francisco, he’s been firmly in the backup role behind Christian McCaffrey, and one has to wonder if he might see more action given recent injuries on the roster.
Week 10 matchups: vs. Los Angeles Rams, 4:25 p.m. ET
Blake Collum, RB, Los Angeles Rams (9.6%)
The Rams came back strong from their bye week, easily taking down the Saints 34-10. Collum performed decently, racking up 58 yards on 13 carries. This marks his second consecutive game with 10 or more touches. Despite still trailing Kyren Williams in output, he could be a valuable handcuff option for the latter half of the season, so keep an eye on him.
Week 10 matchups: @ San Francisco 49ers, 4:25 p.m. ET
Alec Pierce, WR, Indianapolis Colts (16.6%)
The Colts had a rough outing in a 27-20 loss to the Steelers, yet Pierce managed to stand out, catching six passes for 115 yards—the best numbers of his season so far. He’s averaging 94 receiving yards over the last three games, showing he can be more than just a deep threat on the offense.
Pierce entered Week 9 with one of the highest average depths of target among receivers, and his combination of explosive ability and increased targets could really elevate his fantasy value going forward. Now’s the time to pay attention!
Week 10 matchups: vs. Atlanta Falcons, 9:30 a.m. ET (Berlin game)
Romeo Doubs, WR, Green Bay Packers (55.8%)
No one really saw the Packers’ 16-13 loss to the Panthers coming. Doubs played a part in the disappointing outcome, catching 7 of 10 targets for 91 yards. He has emerged as Jordan Love’s go-to receiver this season. With tight end Tucker Craft sidelined due to injury, Doubs will need to step up even more.
Interestingly, Doubs is still registered in less than 60% of leagues, which is surprising for a player in the top-30 at wide receiver ranking. If you can grab him, it might not be a bad move.
Week 10 matchups: vs. Philadelphia Eagles, 8:15 p.m. ET (Monday night)
Colston Loveland, TE, Chicago Bears (24.4%)
For those who believed in Loveland, your patience might finally be rewarded. The rookie tight end from Michigan had his breakout game with six receptions for 118 yards and two touchdowns in a thrilling 47-42 win over the Bengals. His 58-yard touchdown gave the Bears a critical lead with only seconds remaining.
With Cole Kmet suffering a concussion during that game, Loveland seems set to receive even greater attention in next week’s matchup against the Giants. He’s likely to be a sought-after player in the waiver market this week, so make your move quickly.
Week 10 matchups: vs. New York Giants, 1 p.m. ET
Harold Fannin Jr., TE, Cleveland Browns (52.3%)
The Browns took a bye last week but still have the opportunity to snag Fannin next Sunday as they face off against the Jets. The rookie has injected some energy into a lagging Browns offense, ranking in the top 10 among tight ends for receptions and receiving yards.
It’s worth noting that his veteran teammate, David Njoku, is under speculation for a potential trade move, so Fannin might hold even more value. If you’re in need of a tight end, this could be your chance.
