Top kicker pickups for fantasy football waivers in Week 7

Top kicker pickups for fantasy football waivers in Week 7

Week 7 of Waiver Wire Watch

The NFL is gearing up for another weekend, and it’s hard to believe we’re already a third of the way through the 2025 regular season. With multiple kickers showing strong performances, they often become the deciding factor in fantasy matchups.

Here’s a look at some players from Week 6 you might want to grab off the waiver wire before Week 7 rolls around. Just a reminder, we consider exempt additions to be players who are in 50% or fewer of league lineups.

Teams on Bye: Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills

Eddie Pineiro, K, San Francisco 49ers (24.7%)

Pineiro could emerge as a top fantasy kicker now that Spencer Shrader is out for the season. He was a key scoring player in the 49ers’ 30-19 loss to the Buccaneers, racking up 18 fantasy points. That made him the top-performing kicker for the week, going 4-for-4 on field goals and adding an extra point. Notably, he was the only kicker to attempt multiple field goals from over 50 yards on Sunday.

San Francisco is dealing with various injuries across the team, and players like Pineiro will need to step up to keep them in playoff contention. He’s averaging 12.8 fantasy points per game and has shown he can be reliable.

Upcoming Matchup: vs. Atlanta Falcons, 8:20 p.m. ET

Jason Myers, K, Seattle Seahawks (33.2%)

The Seattle offense is thriving under Sam Darnold, which likely means more scoring chances for Myers. In their 20-12 win over the Jaguars, he went 2-for-2 on both field goals and extra points. This two-time Pro Bowler has consistently delivered, scoring at least 10 fantasy points in three of his last four games.

Upcoming Matchup: vs. Houston Texans, 10 p.m. ET (Monday night)

Blake Grupe, K, New Orleans Saints (0.8%)

Grupe has been getting plenty of opportunities to score for the struggling Saints, and he usually takes advantage. In their 25-19 loss to the Patriots, he went 4-for-4 on field goals and 1-for-1 on extra points, resulting in 16 fantasy points for the second consecutive week for those who picked him up.

However, it’s worth mentioning he has missed five kicks this year, so his fantasy value really hinges on how many chances he gets each game. If you’re okay with a mistake here and there, he might offer enough value to be worth considering.

Upcoming Matchup: @ Chicago Bears, 1 p.m. ET
