Apart from its mission to protect the United States from dangerous foreign powers, the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) appears to have pledged allegiance to another cause: gender ideology.
Cliff Sims, who served as deputy director of national intelligence under former President Donald Trump, is the author of his new book “ The Darkness Has Not Been Conquered: Lessons on Faith and Politics from Inside the Halls of Power, how pro-transgender propaganda lines the halls of the CIA. The book, obtained exclusively by Breitbart News, details what it was like for Sims when he first joined the CIA in his new role.
“I walked through a confusing entrance, stood inside a plastic tube, and scanned my badge. It was like a scene from an 80s sci-fi movie,” he wrote.
Sims continues:
Now, inside the CIA’s original headquarters building, I was faced with a maze of hallways lined with locked doors and plaques with vague descriptions of what was behind them. I finally found a row of elevators and rode them up to the main floor. The wide hallways are lined with a mix of historical paintings and promotional posters of the type found in many corporate environments.
He added that the CIA’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion had many other posters “advertising its various programs and initiatives and promoting the importance of each employee’s ‘identity.'” “But as I turned the corner to enter the CIA cafeteria for the first time, it became clear that the agency’s focus on diversity also had a political dimension. A poster read: “Trans lives are human lives.” It was written.
“even hereI wonder to myself how someone would spend their day trying to keep America safe from a dangerous foreign attacker in order to promote the latest iteration of identity politics. ,” Sims wrote.
Sims points out that diversity within the CIA is clearly important for agents to fit in with different missions around the world. But the CIA’s obsession with “diversity” has a “political dimension,” he says.
Sims writes:
Despite the left’s insistence that Americans need to “trust the science” on everything from vaccines to climate change, when someone asserts a basic tenet of human biology, they Nothing attracts the wrath of someone immediately. If there are two X chromosomes, one person will be female; if there is one X chromosome and one Y chromosome, one person will be male.
He continued, “Those who object to the idea that gender is a matter of personal choice rather than biological fact, no matter how respectfully they object, no matter how religiously they disagree, “There will be consequences,” he warned.
“Peer pressure, listing one’s pronouns (in the case of the U.S. State Department, they simply put employee pronouns in the header of every email, whether the employee likes it or not), and using bathrooms and locker rooms in other places. “There will be pressure to share it with other people, such as attacking individuals of the opposite sex in order to destroy women’s sports,” he wrote. “Those who disagree are called ‘bigots’ and will not be tolerated. The old adage ‘The antidote to bad speech is better speech’ only truly works if you have the truth on your side.” .”
Sims goes on to write to fellow Christians about how to deal with culture’s growing denial of biological reality.
The biblical truth that “God created us male and female” (Genesis 1:27) is a great place to start. This beautiful reality is reflected throughout the Bible, from the creation account in Genesis 2 to God’s vision of a man and woman becoming one flesh in marriage (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:5, (Mark 10:8, Ephesians 5:31) — All discussions of gender in the Bible are framed in terms of the male/female binary.
When dealing with transgender co-workers and dealing with different identity obligations at work, Sims advises Christians to “always show empathy for those who are hurting and confused,” but also “understand your rights.” We oppose such obligations on the grounds that they do not infringe upon the He sincerely held religious beliefs to appease someone’s erroneous opinion. ”
He quoted Jefferson, saying, “As Thomas Jefferson once wrote, ‘I have sworn on the altar of God eternal hostility to every form of tyranny that rules the hearts of men.'” Ta.
“So, if you want to be on the front lines of today’s counterrevolution, rebel unashamedly against the left’s tyranny of the mind and attack on human biology. Get married, start a family, be frightened by the mob. Refuse to live,” he added.
The Sims book is scheduled to be released on May 7th. Pre-order possible now.
