Welcome to the Week 15 Waiver Wire Watch for Wide Receivers!
Finally, it’s that time of year! Fantasy playoffs are upon us. All those lineup choices made over the weeks? They’ve led us here. Whether you’re aiming for the trophy or just don’t want to be the ‘Sacco’ of the league, it’s crucial to find ways to bolster your roster for the postseason. So, let’s dive into some options for improving your team!
Here’s a glance at some wide receivers that could be worth picking up off the waiver wire ahead of Week 15. We usually look at players who are available in up to 60% of leagues. With bye weeks over, teams are back at it.
Christian Watson, WR, Green Bay Packers (49.7%)
What comes after an 80-yard, 1-touchdown game against a division rival? An 89-yard, 2-touchdown game against them the next week! That’s exactly what Watson achieved in a 28-21 victory over the Bears, helping push the Packers to the top of the NFC North.
Since his season debut in Week 8, Watson has been a key player for Jordan Love. He’s ranked in the top 15 for both average depth of target and yards per route among receivers with at least 100 routes this season. Although the matchup against the Broncos seems tricky, he’s definitely one to consider picking up.
Week 15 matchups: @ Denver Broncos, 4:25 PM ET.
Alec Pierce, WR, Indianapolis Colts (45.6%)
The Colts are in quite a bind after losing 36-19 to the Jaguars. With Daniel Jones out due to an Achilles injury, Riley Leonard is stepping in as QB. One reliable option for him could be Pierce, who caught five balls for 80 yards in the recent game against Jacksonville.
Pierce is still leading the league with an impressive 20.2 yards per catch. Leonard, being a rookie, will need dependable players as he navigates his first start, and Pierce could be a solid choice for some easy completions.
Week 15 matchups: @ Seattle Seahawks, 4:25 PM ET.
Kimea Dike, WR, Tennessee Titans (18.7%)
The Titans managed to pull off a win on Sunday, albeit a narrow one against the struggling Browns. While Cam Ward’s passing wasn’t exceptional, Dike emerged as a dependable target, hauling in five catches for 24 yards and scoring a crucial fourth-quarter touchdown.
The rookie has now scored two touchdowns in the last three games, and he’s recording about five targets per game lately. He could be a worthwhile option in PPR leagues, so keep an eye on him.
Week 15 matchups: @ San Francisco 49ers, 4:25 PM ET.
Isaac Tesla, WR, Detroit Lions (13.7%)
The Lions scored a much-needed 44-30 victory over the Cowboys, keeping their playoff hopes alive. Wide receiver Isaac Tesla had another solid outing, securing two receptions for 20 yards and a touchdown—his second in the last two weeks.
The Arkansas rookie is finally getting more chances, particularly with Kalife Raymond injured, managing over 48 yards and contributing to last Thursday’s win. If you’re in a dynasty league, keeping tabs on Tesla could pay off, especially if he’s sitting on the waiver wire.
Week 15 matchups: @ Los Angeles Rams, 4:25 PM ET.
