Tour Championship: How to watch, streaming, Round 1 Tee Times, preview, more

Following Keegan Bradley’s emotional win at the BMW Championship in Denver, the top 30 players in the FedExCup standings return to Atlanta for the season-final Tour Championship.

But this year’s tournament will look quite different. Renowned golf architect Andrew Green, who recently renovated Oak Hill Country Club ahead of the 2023 PGA Championship, has done a similar renovation at East Lake over the past year. Green has returned East Lake to its early 1910s design, when Donald Ross tweaked the Atlanta-area courses from Tom Bendelow’s original layouts. In doing so, Green rebuilt most holes, created 18 new green complexes and reshaped all of the bunkers.

In constructing the new greens, Green introduced unique configurations to the putting surfaces, creating dozens of new, challenging and fun hole locations. Green also installed numerous water collection areas around these putting surfaces, creating dangerous conditions for some players for a week. This work on East Lake began immediately after Viktor Hovland’s win a year ago, and bulldozers arrived at the club’s front door by the Monday following the tournament, and redevelopment was underway.

A year later, the top 30 players from this year’s PGA Tour season will essentially be stepping onto a new golf course. Who knows how it will play out? But this year’s Tour Championship will surely be an entertaining one as Scottie Scheffler and Xander Schauffele will enter the tournament at 10-under and 8-under, respectively, due to starting stroke format. Each player’s starting score can be found below, below their tee shot, next to their name.
