Trace Cyrus, Miley Cyrus’ brother, accused his former girlfriend Brenda Song of fabricating a cancer diagnosis, faking pregnancies, and even pretending to have had an abortion during their seven-year relationship.
The musician shared these serious allegations on Instagram after facing criticism from fans who commented on his breakup, suggesting he might understand why Brenda left him.
Trace claimed, “Yes, she took thousands of dollars from me and faked multiple pregnancies.”
He went on to describe a song he created titled “I lied about being terminally ill,” asserting that Brenda made both him and his family believe she suffered from breast cancer and a brain tumor.
“It was all a lie,” Trace stated. He expressed that Brenda felt humiliated after the truth came out to his family.
He also accused her of staging an abortion, alleging she used fake blood to cover the bathroom floor.
Trace mentioned that he and his mother, Tish Cyrus, eventually realized all her claims were false. “All the lies began to unravel,” he said.
In another post, he recounted an incident where Brenda showed up at his house bandaged but then acted as if nothing had happened.
He concluded that there is more to Brenda’s story, adding, “I hope she’s getting better mentally.”
Representatives for both Brenda and Tish did not respond to requests for comments.
Trace and Brenda’s relationship spanned from 2010 to 2017. After their split, Trace reflected positively on their time together, noting that she inspired him to create numerous songs. “I always treasure the music we made,” he shared.
Currently, Brenda is engaged to Macaulay Culkin, and they have two children together. Trace was previously linked to Taylor Lauren Sanders between 2018 and 2020.
