Trade Negotiations with Asian Countries ‘Moving Along Very Well’

Treasury Secretary Scott Bescent said on Sunday, “Meeting Publications” by the ABC, trade negotiations with several Asian countries are “moving very well.”

Host Martha Radazs said: time An interview with President Trump. He said he made 200 transactions on tariffs. 200 deals? Who did he trade with? Are there any actual transactions at this point? ”

Bescent replied, “I believe he’s referring to the sub-deal within the negotiations we’re doing.”

“But they’re not real deals,” Radazs said.

“If you have 180 countries and 18 important trading partners, let’s put China aside, as it’s a special negotiation. There are 17 important trading partners and there’s a process of negotiating over the next 90 days,” Bescent said.

He said some of these Asian countries came in and said, “Oh, yes, this, and I’ll stop this.” And I’m looking at these lists and how do you think we came here? This is because this trading system was very unfair. As President Trump says, I don’t blame the country. I blame the previous administration for running away with it. ”
