Trae Young’s night ended early.
The Starhawks point guard was kicked out of Atlanta’s 120-95 loss in his first match in magic after receiving two technical fouls in Orlando on Tuesday night.
The sequence occurred less than five minutes in the fourth quarter after Young excavated a floater into the paint.
He then picked the ball and appeared to be throwing it with an extra cheddar to referee James Williams.
As Young went down the court, the ball returned near him after Williams threw it towards the other side of the court.
Instead of giving it to Pat Flaher right away when Young reached the ball, the four-time All-Stars handled it a little more and then walked to the baseline with it and got an ejection from his second technique and ball game.

Young finished with a game-high 28 points and six assists despite getting an ejection.
Atlanta currently plays the winner of the game between the Bulls and Heat, with the magic moving on to the first round for a date with the second-seeded Celtics.
