There are two different ways to use external storage devices to transfer old data to a new computer. here it is:
USB flash drive: Copy the file to be transferred USB flash driveNext, plug it into your new computer and copy the files. Note that many flash drive storage space tends to be on the smaller side. It's not a problem if you're transferring documents or emails to a new laptop, but if you have a lot of media files (photos, videos, etc.), it may be suitable for an external hard drive. Follow these steps:
For Windows
- Plug the USB flash drive into an Available USB ports On the current computer
- Wait for the computer to become rRecognizes the device
- open File Explorer On your computer
- Find Files to be transferred and Select them
- Right-click on the selected file and select it copy Or use keyboard shortcuts Ctrl+c
- I'll navigate to you USB flash drive File Explorer
- Right-click on the empty space and select it paste Or use keyboard shortcuts Ctrl+v

Using Network Transfer
If you have tried to transfer data using cloud storage but find it too slow, you can use Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi to make the process faster.
Ethernet cable: Connect both computers to the same network Ethernet cableenable file sharing and transfer files directly.
Wifi: Make sure both computers are on the same Wi-Fi network, enable file sharing, and transfer files wirelessly.
