Transgender Netflix star Laverne Cox has announced plans to stock up on the hormone estrogen, joining the growing number of celebrities publicly distraught following President-elect Donald Trump's victory on Tuesday.

“You have to take estrogen to be healthy, and I don't know if that's going to be possible anymore,” Cox told the outlet.
“There are websites I've already visited. I haven't bought them yet because I'm consulting with my doctor to make sure they're all reputable and good products. But yeah, I'm going to build up a lot of estrogen. Testosterone is a controlled substance. So it's a little tricky for trans men. But there are resources online.”
President Trump has never said his administration would take hormones away from transgender adults.
Instead, he has campaigned to prevent men with dysphoria from participating in women's sports and to end irreversible sex change procedures performed on minors. This practice is extremely controversial; new york times is in doubt.
During the campaign, President Trump also criticized Vice President Kamala Harris over her history of supporting taxpayer-funded sex change surgeries for detained illegal aliens.
Cox appeared in the Netflix series orange is the new black. He is the celebrity most tarnished following President Trump's decisive victory over Harris.
