The LPGA announced Wednesday an update to its policy banning transgender golfers who have “transitioned” from male to female after puberty. The new rules affect most transgender players due to the fact that the majority do not transition before puberty.

Since then 2021Davidson is aiming to earn an LPGA pro card, and the trans-athlete has racked up wins during his time on the NXXT Tour. But those days are over with the golf giant's decision to disqualify Davidson.
Following the LPGA's announcement, Davidson posted on his Instagram Story that he almost crashed.
“I can't say I didn't foresee this happening. I've been banned from Epson and the LPGA.” I wrote Davidson. “Thank you for all your silence and those who wish to remain ‘neutral’ for nothing. Your silence has allowed this to happen.
“And for some reason, people are surprised that transgender suicide rates are about 50%. Situations like this are part of the reason.”
